Laying the groundwork: A 2-Piece Home to Wairoa

We had the pleasure of delivering a 2-piece home to its new site in Wairoa. This project was a bit unique because it required the use of driven pile foundations.

Driven piles are used at times when there are poor ground conditions.

They provide the structural strength needed to take the load of the house.

Driven piles are installed before the house arrives on-site which requires careful planning and precision.

In this case, our process involved building a ramp to drive our trailer wheels over the installed foundation.
